The Center for Bioimage Informatics at Carnegie Mellon University
hosted the first Bioimaging Day on April 18, 2005. The
goal of the day was to bring together faculty from
across the campus to
- hear about biological problems in which images are the
primary data source,
- computational and statistical methods for automated analysis of images, and
- current and planned infrastructure to facilitate acquisition, management
and interpretation of biological
images across the campus.
A specific goal of the discussions was to help
initiate new collaborations.
The schedule of presentations is available here.
