The Center for Bioimage Informatics at Carnegie Mellon University
hosts a summer program for undergraduates majoring in
engineering, biology, mathematics and computer science who are interested in
gaining research experience in the exciting new area of bioimage informatics.
Students from groups underrepresented in the sciences are especially encouraged to apply.

The application deadline is March 15th.
The 2008 program will run from May 27th through August 1st. Each
participant will receive free university housing, a stipend of $3,400, and
reasonable travel expenses. The primary focus of the program will be
a mentored research project with one of the CBI faculty. The program
will also include scientific and
social events run jointly with other summer undergraduate programs
on campus.
